Warrior at a glance
Warrior
Armoured veterans of countless battles, Warriors live at the front line. They fuel their attacks with rage built up in the thick of combat, and can specialise as a sturdy main tank, a heavy-hitting weapon master or a dual-wielding berserker. Simple to pick up, but rewarding to master.

-
Solo leveling
5
Hits hard once geared, but leans heavily on gear and has little healing of its own, so early levelling involves plenty of downtime between fights.
-
Dungeons & groups
7
An excellent tank with strong defensive tools and useful group shouts, though the class brings few buffs beyond that.
-
Raiding
9
Tanks and melee damage dealers are needed in every raid, making Warriors one of the most consistently in-demand classes.
-
PvP
7
Strong burst and good gap closers make Warriors dangerous, but they struggle against kiting and rely heavily on gear and healer support.
-
Farming
6
Decent area damage once geared, but recovery pauses between pulls slow down grinding.
-
Gold efficiency
6
Weapon upgrades are flexible, but plate armour, weapon upgrades and tank repair bills make the class fairly expensive to keep up.
-
Ease of play
6
The basics are simple, but gear reliance and downtime make it a tougher first character, and tanking adds a real learning curve.
-
Survivability
7
Plate armour and strong defensive cooldowns make Warriors durable, but limited self-healing means long fights rely on bandages and healers.
-
Mobility
7
Excellent at closing the gap on targets, but there are few ways to escape once a fight turns bad.
-
Profession_synergy
5
Mining and Blacksmithing supply plate and weapons, but there is no class-specific profession bonus.
