Mage at a glance
Mage
Scholars of the arcane who bend fire, frost and raw magic to their will. Mages are fragile but devastating, dealing huge ranged damage while controlling the battlefield and conjuring their own supplies. Success comes from managing mana, distance and timing across several schools of magic.

-
Solo leveling
7
Strong ranged damage and conjured food and water make for quick kills, but fragility means mistakes are punished.
-
Dungeons & groups

Crowd control, damage and conjured supplies are useful in any dungeon, though Mages offer little healing or protection.
-

7
Powerful burst and excellent control, but very fragile against anyone who gets close.

Gold efficiency
7
Free food and water, plus strong farming income, offset the cost of reagents and teleports.
-
Ease of play

The core playstyle is straightforward, but fragility and mana management make Mages a risky first character.

4
Strong emergency tools help, but cloth armour and a tiny health pool mean one mistake can be costly.
-
Mobility
6
Short-range teleports, roots and slows give good control, but most damage needs you to stand still.
-
Profession_synergy
